Day 13 back to Lillehammer, Day 14 skiing at Sjusjoen

Day 12

Kroken again, to finish off the last few, but 4 days climbing had taken it's toll and the body was not willing. Did a couple of lines and headed off for a bit of tourism ! then a sauna, and pizza and packed the car ready for our next battle with e-chargers tomorrow.

The mirrors that reflect some sunshine to Rjukan's square are that dent in middle of the horizon!

Otherwise the sun doesn't touch Rjukan for half the year

There's a large hydro works here, and heavy water !!

Day 7 & 8 Rjukan

Another ski with Beinn, then a shop with Beinn and bye bye Lillehammer.

The drive to Rjukan was a nightmare of (not) loading apps that are "unavailable in your country", phoning help lines, finding charging stations that required you to have one of their RFIDs 😱 etc etc

Anyway we arrived at 9pm..

Day 8 we climbed Ossimosis and others (no photos), then spotted this little gem for the next day..

Day 5 & 6

Skiing in a cloud again for a couple of days. Being cooked for by Beinn, and eating at a pancake restaurant with a train that runs around the ceiling!

Day 2 we went to watch the Brits race in thick fog, before driving back in the rain..

Day 0 & 1

First day in Norway and we drove to the Birkenbeiner Hotel in Lillehammer.
Found a lovely little bar playing 70s rock music and serving brown beer.
Out early the next day to find the nearest Ice. We climbed 2 pitches at Losnafossen WI3 & 3* !!

After we checked out Botterudbekken in Trappefossen for the next day, a 120m climb that looked good!

Ate out with Beinn that evening, excited for the next day!
